Kelly Nash was raised in Davie Florida Davie, which lies close to Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash spent her childhood fishing and boating along with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister . Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather was a Portuguese native, came to America from Portugal.



 From a young age, Kelly Nash was a enthusiast of the Miami Marlins. While Nash was a fan of sports from a young age she had always hoped to become a news reporter. Kelly Nash, a 2006 graduate of Clemson University in Clemson (South Carolina), with a Bachelor in Communication as well as Media Studies. Clemson awarded her a master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's Baseball and Soccer teams she was given an athletic scholarship that was full-time by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host, and is featured in a variety of shows that the network airs, including the evening highlights program, Quick Pitch. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. In March of 2015 she was a part of the MLB Network. She also started contributing to the NHL Network in 2015. This was when the NHL Network's daily operations were run from the MLB Network headquarters.
