Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. She made her movie debut as a Bond actress in A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she starred as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody played Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan's role as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Approached by a photographer Doody took up modelling and subsequently the profession of commercial modeling. Doody was adamantly against glamour and sexually explicit work. This was a policy was extended to her acting profession. After being spotted by of the casting director of a new James Bond film she accepted an unimportant role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was listed as one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 by John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. At just 18 when she appeared in the role Doody was and is - the youngest Bond girl that has ever appeared. A different early film was a small part in a small role as IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) in which she starred Mickey Rourke. Doody was unspoken in the film as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias as she appeared in his film of a dream, the 1987 adaptation from The Secret Garden. The Storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her first leading part. The episode aired in 1988 alongside John Hurt, Dawn French along with Jennifer Saunders. She also appeared alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. The most memorable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody is part of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. In the year 1991, Doody co-starred opposite Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. In Hollywood, she moved to. The Asphyx was the remake she made in 2011. Pam Jefferson, the character that she played in the comedy series E4's Beaver Falls during its first season, which ran for two seasons. She also starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. The film was awarded the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on November 21, 2018.
